Overview:
All pleadings, including motions and requests, must be filed in writing.
The Court offers fillable forms that can be completed online. Parties may also submit filings that are not completed on the Court’s fillable forms by using one of the methods listed below.
Filings can take up to 7-10 business days for the Court to process.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your filing conforms with the requirements (as listed below), and that the Court received your filing. Failure to do so may result in your filing not being processed.
NOTICE: The submission of a filing does NOT guarantee that it will be granted.
Motion Requirements: The Coolidge Municipal Court will only accept filings that conform to the applicable rules AND that can be scanned and/or printed.
Filings that do not conform to the applicable rules, or are incapable of being scanned and/or printed, will NOT be processed. The Court will not fix any errors or omissions in any filing.
The Court will NOT accept filings in the form of:
- Flash Drives (e.g., USB drives, jump drives, etc.)
- CD/DVDs
- Clickable links

Filing Options: In-person: Print your filing(s) and bring it to the Court during normal business hours. The Clerk may also provide blank motion templates upon request.

Court Processing:
After the Court receives a filing, it may take up to 7-10 business days to process. Once processed, all filings are provided to the judicial officer to make a ruling on. The Court will provide notice to the filer once a ruling has been made.
NOTICE: If your filing involves a criminal case, a copy must also be submitted to the Prosecutor's Office. Failure to comply with this requirement may delay a ruling on the part of the judicial officer.
