How do I request a City Roll Off?
The City of Coolidge provides residents with the option to request a roll off. In order to obtain a roll off you must fill out a roll off agreement. The roll off agreement can be filled out online or in person at the Public Works Office located at 1326 W. Industrial Dr. between the hours of 7am-4pm. There will be a fee of $75. Once the roll off agreement is completed and the fee is paid, we will be able to schedule for a roll off.
What do I do about illegal dumping?
Illegal dumping is a serious matter. If there is illegal dumping behind your residence or if there is a particular area you must call Police Department at (520)723-5311 and make a report. Once Coolidge Police Department has started a report the City of Coolidge Solid Waste Department will be notified.
What is the Holiday Schedule for Waste Connections?
When do I put my container out for pick up?
To ensure that your trash is picked up, please remember to have your container on the street at the edge of the curb before 6am on the scheduled day of pickup with the lid facing the street. Please make certain that your container is not overfilled and is placed at least 5' from any parked vehicles or other obstacles. Trash trucks run as late as 6pm on pick up days.
My container was missed. What do I do with the garbage?
If your collection was missed, contact the Public Works office at (520)723-4882 or City Hall at (520) 723-5361 between the hours of 7am and 4pm.
Why hasn’t my bulk trash been picked up?
The City of Coolidge has contracted with Waste Connections. Waste Connections takes care of residential waste/recycle and bulk trash. In order for your bulk trash to be picked up you must contact them and request to be put on their calendar. You can reach Waste Connections online or via telephone, (480) 983-9100.
What time will my trash container be picked up?
The trash trucks run their route from 6am to 6pm. If your container was not picked up during these hours, please contact the Public Works office at (520)723-4882 or City Hall at (520) 723-5361, Monday thru Friday between 7am and 4pm.
How do I receive a replacement or repair for a cracked or damaged trash container?
If your container is lost or stolen contact the Public Works office at (520)723-4882 or City Hall at (520) 723-5361, Monday thru Friday between 7am and 4pm. Please be ready to provide your name, address, subdivision and phone number.
What responsibilities do I have with my trash container?
Once the container has been delivered to your home, you are responsible for its maintenance and upkeep. If your container becomes dirty or smells, it should be cleaned with soapy water and rinsed. Other chemicals should not be used as they may damage the container. Household trash should always be sealed inside of sturdy trash bags before they are deposited inside your container. When discontinuing trash service, customers who do not return their container will be charged for its replacement value.

I recently moved to the City, how do I start my trash service?
If you have recently purchased a house within the City limits, you will need to stop at City Hall, located at 130 W. Central fill out a "Request for Trash & Sewer Service" form. You will need to provide Proof of Ownership of your home such as ID, settlement statement, or deed only.
There is a $25 set up fee and $115 deposit. The deposit applies to everyone regardless of credit or how long they’ve been in the city. If they had an account with a deposit already on it then the deposit can be transferred.
If you cannot come into City Hall, you can print the forms online, complete them, get them notarized, then contact City Hall at 520-723-5631 for further instructions to send the documents and to make the payment.
Can I start sewer and trash service if I am a renter?
If you are a tenant and/or are renting your residence, come to City Hall with your ID & lease agreement. There is a $25 set up fee and $115 deposit. Absolutely! You can contact City Hall at (520)723-5361 and request for a second household garbage can. There will be a fee of $5.00 (I think this cost has gone up; can it be verified if it is still $5?) per month for a second garbage can.
