PUBLIC NOTICE/AVISO PÚBLICO
NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR ARGUMENTS FOR AND AGAINST BALLOT MEASURE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Coolidge, Arizona, will submit to the qualified electors of the City at the Primary Election to be held on July 21, 2026, a proposed public utility franchise agreement with Arizona Public Service Company.
Pursuant to Arizona law, arguments for and against the proposed measure may be submitted for inclusion in the publicity pamphlet. Arguments shall not exceed 300 words and must be filed with the Office of the City Clerk at 130 W. Central Avenue, Coolidge, AZ 85128, or submitted electronically no later than 5:00 p.m. on June 5th, 2026. Each argument shall be accompanied by the name and address of the person(s) submitting the argument. Arguments may be edited by the City Clerk for format, style, and grammar, but not for content.
The City Clerk will also prepare an impartial analysis of the measure as required by law.

AVISO DE SOLICITUD DE ARGUMENTOS A FAVOR Y EN CONTRA DE UNA MEDIDA ELECTORAL
POR LA PRESENTE SE NOTIFICA que la Ciudad de Coolidge, Arizona, someterá a los electores calificados de la Ciudad, en la Elección Primaria que se llevará a cabo el 21 de julio de 2026, un propuesto acuerdo de franquicia de servicio público con Arizona Public Service Company.
De conformidad con la ley del estado de Arizona, se solicitan argumentos a favor y en contra de la medida propuesta para su inclusión en el folleto informativo. Los argumentos no deberán exceder de 300 palabras y deberán presentarse ante la Oficina de la Secretaria Municipal a 130 W. Central Avenue, Coolidge, AZ 85128, o por correo electrónico a más antes de la 5:00 de la tarde el dia 5 de Junio de 2026. Cada argumento deberá incluir el nombre y domicilio de la(s) persona(s) que lo presenta(n). Los argumentos podrán ser editados por la Secretaria Municipal en cuanto a formato, estilo y gramática, pero no en cuanto a su contenido.
La Secretaria Municipal también preparará un análisis imparcial de la medida conforme a lo requerido por la ley.

The City of Coolidge is accepting arguments supporting or opposing the extension of the Alternative Expenditure Limitation-Home Rule Option.
Last day to submit arguments For or Against the continuation of the Alternative Expenditure Limitation for the City of Coolidge, is August 4th, 2026, by 5:00 p.m. The proposed question will be presented to the voters of Coolidge for consideration at the November 3rd, 2026 General election. Arguments should be submitted to the Office of the City Clerk, 130 W. Central Avenue. Further information may be obtained by calling the City Clerk’s Office at (520) 723-5361.

La Ciudad de Coolidge está aceptando argumentos que apoyan o se oponen a la continuación de Limitación de Gastos-Opción de Autogobierno.
El ultimo día para presentar argumentos en favor o en contra la continuación de Limitación de Gastos Alternativos para la Ciudad de Coolidge, es el dia 4 de Augusto, 2026, a las 5:00 p.m. La pregunta propuesta será presentada a los votantes en las elecciones general el dia 3 de noviembre, 2026.
