Downtown Partnership Committee
On April 13th, 2009, the Mayor and City Council passed a Resolution establishing the Downtown Partnership Committee. The Resolution assigns the new Committee the following tasks:
- Ensure that the work of the City of Coolidge, the Coolidge Chamber of Commerce and the Historic Commission is coordinated and is moving downtown in a positive direction;
- Clearly define the roles and responsibilities of all involved in implementing the Downtown Action Agenda;
- Bring the public sector, the business sector and the non-profit sector together to work on downtown enhancement;
- Development private sector leadership in downtown; and
- Any other matters that the City Council directs to facilitate development of the downtown area.
There will be 15 members on the Committee, 7 of which will also sit on the Historic Commission.
