On April 13th, 2009, the Mayor and City Council passed a Resolution establishing the Downtown Partnership Committee.  The Resolution assigns the new Committee the following tasks:

  • Ensure that the work of the City of Coolidge, the Coolidge Chamber of Commerce and the Historic Commission is coordinated and is moving downtown in a positive direction;
  • Clearly define the roles and responsibilities of all involved in implementing the Downtown Action Agenda;
  • Bring the public sector, the business sector and the non-profit sector together to work on downtown enhancement;
  • Development private sector leadership in downtown; and
  • Any other matters that the City Council directs to facilitate development of the downtown area.

There will be 15 members on the Committee, 7 of which will also sit on the Historic Commission.
