PHOENIX — The City of Coolidge announced that it has been named a recipient of

Arizona Public Service (APS) community beautification funding, awarded as part of APS’s 140th anniversary celebration.

Through this investment,City of Coolidge will add two new basketball courts and pickleball courts to the Coolidge Regional Park, creating lasting improvements and benefits for the community.

“APS has always been an excellent community partner. Their commitment to cities and towns is evident in their long history and we appreciate being selected for this beautification project. It will bring joy to Coolidge residents for years to come.” said Mayor Jon Thompson

The funding is part of APS’s $1.4 million commitment, funded by APS shareholders, to support beautification projects across its service territory in 2026. The initiative honors APS’s 140-year history in Arizona and reflects the company’s ongoing focus on strengthening the communities it serves.
