Our office has moved to the Hoover Building located at 1326 W Industrial Drive. The Community Drop off Center is still in the same location near Coolidge Ave and Kenworthy Rd. To apply for garbage collection services and for information on current fees; new residents should contact Coolidge City Hall, (520) 723-5361. The City of Coolidge and Right Away Disposal (RAD) would like to take this opportunity to better acquaint you with the guidelines of your current waste and new recycling program. Garbage/Refuse Collection:
Waste Connections
Waste Connections is responsible for the collection of residential waste/recycling within the City limits and transporting it the nearest station/landfill. Residential service is provided once a week through the use of 95 gallon containers either on a Monday or Thursday depending on the area.
*Please place your garbage/recycling bin out the night before, or by 6am on the day of service.*
Waste Connections has a strict Bag & Tie policy, all garbage is to be bagged and tied to reduce potential spills, fly breeding, and odor. If both of your containers are serviced on the same day, please place the containers 4 feet apart so the truck can service them. Recycle material is to be put into the container loosely, Styrofoam, and plastic bags are not allowed in the recycle container, and these items are considered trash. Waste Connections observes 4 holidays as following; Independence day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day and will not be serviced on any of these days. Bulk Trash Collection
Waste Connections:
In addition to garbage collection, Waste Connections removes uncontained waste (bulk trash) from City residential areas on a once per month basis. Right away disposal has one day a month where residents can leave bulk trash by the curb. Bulk trash pick-up will be on the second Tuesday of each month for all of the City of Coolidge residents. You must schedule your bulk trash pick-up with Waste Connections either online or by calling (480) 983-9100.

Roll Off Containers:
The City of Coolidge provides City residents with the option to obtain a roll off for items that do not fit in your regular garbage container. Our roll offs are 8 yard bins that fit bulk items such as green waste, furniture, appliances, household items & cardboard. Loose leaves, yard clippings, yard debris, etc. will need to be bagged and then thrown in the roll off. In order to obtain a roll off you must fill out a roll off agreement and pay a $75.00 roll off fee. The Public Works office accepts cash or card and will be open from 7:00am-4:00pm Monday through Friday. The roll offs will be delivered by 8:00am and will be picked up the following day by 8:00am. We will not accept any construction materials, hazardous waste (oil, paint, pesticides), tires, pallets, automotive parts, dirt, concrete or household garbage. If any of these items are found in the containers you will be fined a fee of $200.00. You must be current on sewer and trash to schedule a roll off. Community Drop Off Center & Burn Pit
The City of Coolidge has an area for drop off of green waste & bulk trash items Located on Coolidge Ave ¼ mile west of Kenworthy Rd. We require you provide a photo ID & a current sewer & trash bill along with an General Affidavit if dumping for someone else and using their address. City of Coolidge residents are allowed one dump a month for free as approved by City Council depending on the size of the trailer brought in, please see fee sheet below. If you return in the same month with a load you will be subject to a fee for dumping depending on the load size. Any load that is being dropped off must be brought into the gates so that loads can be inspected. Also remember that if you contract with an outside company for removal or trimming of your trees, City Code requires that your contractor remove your green waste and tree trimmings at their expense. We will not accept any construction materials, hazardous waste, tires or household garbage.

Proposed New Garbage and Trash Collection Charges
** Per City Code regarding the disposal of building material and construction debris: All owners, contractors, and builders of structures shall gather up and haul away, at their sole cost and expense, all refuse which has resulted from the building or remodeling of such structure including all lumber scraps, shingles, plaster, brick, stone, concrete, and other building materials. Waste soil, concrete, masonry blocks, sod, and rocks shall be disposed of by the owner, tenant, or occupant of the premises.

Recycling
Just a friendly reminder that YES! Waste Connections does recycle your materials that are put in the container. They cannot recycle contaminated materials so please take the time to separate recyclables. Thank you for being part of the solution!
