Public Works Department

The Mission of the Department is to maintain the City’s infrastructure and facilities in an efficient and effective manner. The Department of Public Works is organized into the following divisions: Building Maintenance, Wastewater Operations, Solid Waste, Streets Division, and Vehicle Maintenance. The Department’s responsibilities include: Street maintenance, repairs, reconstruction, sweeping, and striping; signage; garbage collection and bulk trash pickup; operation of a wastewater treatment and collection system; maintenance/repair of public buildings/facilities; and Maintenance of City vehicles/equipment.
