How To Obtain A Library Card

Free library cards are available to all residents of Pinal County. Simply bring in photo ID with your current address or your photo ID and a piece of mail with your physical address. Your card can be used in most libraries throughout Pinal County. If you lose your card, please call the library immediately at 520-723-6030. A replacement fee of $1 will be charged for each new card issued. For patrons under 18, a parent or guardian must be present in order to get his or her child a library card.

Bring identification with a photo, name and current, local (Pinal County) address to the library. You must show proof of a physical address, not a P.O. Box.

If your ID does not have an updated address, you will need to bring in proof of residence with your name. Rental or purchase agreements or mail received can be used to establish residency proof.

You will be issued a PIN when you register for a library card, which can be used to renew items online, borrow digital content, use library computers, and access the library’s databases.
